ADAMAWA MPS SCREEN 9 MORE COMMISSIONER NOMINEES


In continuation of the screening exercise embarked upon by the Adamawa state House of Assembly, the House has today screened 9 more Commissioner Nominees, making the total of 20 nominees so far screened by the legislators.

The hallowed chamber had during its plenary session yesterday, screened 11 out of 23 commissioner nominees sent to it by Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri about 2 weeks ago.

Those screened today by the state lawmakers include; Umar Mohammed (Madagali), Ibrahim Yayaji Mijinyawa(Yola North), Barr. Sunday Matthew ( Mubi North), Elijah Tumba(Michika), Umar Iya Daware(Fufore), James Iliya(Demsa), Adamu Atiku Abubakar(Jada), Mustapha Jika(Yola South) and Usman Yahaya Diyajo(Girei).

So far, nominees that are yet to undergo the exercise include; Adamu Titus(Shelleng), Lami Patrict(Gombi) and Bappa Dalhatu Isa(Ganye) Local Government Areas and expected to be screened tomorrow.

The plenary session was presided by the Speaker, Rt. Hon. Aminu Iya Abbas.
