Commissioner Nominees from Song, Michika, Mayo Belwa and Mubi South Local Government Areas in Adamawa state that were successfully screened yesterday have commended the manner the state lawmakers have been conducting the affairs of the House.
The nominees include; Hon. Abdullahi Adamu Prambe(Song), Dr. Ishaya John Dabri(Michika), Hon. Shuaibu Audu(Mayo Belwa) and Professor Isa Abdullahi (Mubi South) LGAs.
The nominees made the commendation shortly after the screening exercise carried by the House of Assembly on 11 out of 23 Commissioner Nominees forwarded to it by Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, recently.
The nominees gave pass mark to the House of Assembly under the leadership of Rt. Hon. Aminu Iya Abbas, for what they described as a well coordinated screening exercise, saying the reception accorded to them by the Lawmakers is quite commendable.
According to them, the questions put to them by some of the members were actually geared towards the overall development of the state, saying that the 7 Assembly actually has the mind to ensure good governance for the people of the state.
For every society to develop according to them, there must be unity and common purpose, and however appealed for unity and understanding in the interest of the state.
The nominees further appreciated Governor Fintiri for finding them worthy for the appointment, pledging to deploy their wealth of experience for the progress of Adamawa.
