APPEAL COURT STRIKES OUT SUITS AGAINST SEN CLIFF, REP KWAMOTI



The Court of Appeal holding in Yola the Adamawa State capital has just struck out the appeals of ex- Senator Binta Masi Garba, and that of the All Progressives Congress(APC) for Numan, Demsa and Lamurde Federal Constituency, Olvadi Bema Madayi.

Both Binta Masi Garba(APC) Adamawa Northern Senatorial District and Olvadi Bema respectively, have appealed the decision of the Election Petition Tribunal which dismissed their petitions for lack of convincing evidence to prove irregularities alleged to have marred their.

The Court has affirmed the judgment of the Election Petition Tribunal; thereby, dismissing the appeals brought by Binta Garba and Olvadi Bema in their entirety.

The Chief Magistrate Court II sitting in Yola, Adamawa State has remanded the Chairman Concern Citizens Adamawa State, Alh. Husseini Bello Gambo Nakura in prison custody over multiple offences. News Platform  The court presided by Magistrate M. A. Adamu, remanded the defendant in prison custody and adjourned the case to the 17th September, 2025 for commencement of hearing. Magistrate Adamu ordered the remand of Nakura when he was arraigned before him over multiple allegations slammed against him by the Adamawa State Police Command. Alh. The Michika Concerned Citizens in Adamawa State have blasted the former Governor of Adamawa State, Boni Haruna for his outright disrespect to the Paramount Ruler of Michika Chiefdom, HRM.
