Adamawa State of Assembly Ad Hoc Committee for the Assessment of Local Government Transition Committees headed by Hon. Kate Raymond Mamuno( Demsa), has commenced the inspection of projects executed by 5 LGCs under her jurisdiction.
Hon. Mamuno's Committee is expected to visit Gombi, Song, Girei, Yola South and Fufore LGCs as mandated by the Speaker of the House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Aminu Iya Abbas.
The Speaker had while presiding over the resumed plenary session last week, mandated the committee to among other things assess the performance of the Committees in their first 100 days in office based on the operational guidelines handed down by Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri.
But in compliance with Speaker's directives, the female lawmaker who is leading other members including Hon. Umar Nashion Gubi(Nassarawo Binyeri), Hon. Alhassan Hammanjoda( Ganye), Hon. Myandassa Bauna(Lamurde), Hon. Haruna Jelantikiri (Madagali) and Hon. Abdullahi Ahmadu(Leko/Koma) have since left Yola the Adamawa State Capital for Gombi LGA for the execution of their assignment.
The Lawmakers are billed to meet with the Chairmen, Legislative Councillors, Supervisory Councillors in the course of discharging their assignment.
