ARMS DEAL: TRIAL OF ADAMAWA POLICE ARMOURER, 50 OTHERS CONTINUES NOV 6
The case against Armourer Adamawa State Police Command, Yuguda Abubakar, and 50 others at the Federal High Court in Yola, the Adamawa capital has been adjourned to 6th November, 2019, for continuation of trial within trial.
Yuguda and 50 others have been standing trial at the court for alleged dealing in firearms and ammunition since 8th December, 2017.
The suspects have been arraigned before the court by the Federal Government on 2 count charges: dealing in firearms and ammunition and possession of firearms and ammunition.
Yuguda and 4 others have been charged to the court on count 1, while the remaining 47 suspects have been taken to the court on count 2 respectively.
But Honourable Justice A. M. Anka, had while presiding over the case last week, adjourned the matter to 6th November, 2019 for continuation of trial within trial.
