LAMI AMINU FLOORS 2 OTHERS, RE-EMERGES ADAMAWA NURSES, MIDWIFERY'S BOSS
Nigeria Association of Nurses and Midwifery (NANM), Adamawa State Chapter has re-elected Comrade Lami Aminu, as the Chairman of the association in the state.
The delegates of association have equally elected Mapwavon Joseph as Vice-Chairman, Donald Gakesa , Treasurer, Joseph Ijabula, Financial Secretary, Jaba I Joshua as Auditor ,Theman Jonah, Auditor 11 and Mani Magaji as Public Relations Officer(PRO).
Comrade, Lami Aminu, beat Eric Haratus and Elijah Gabtulda, in a keenly contested election by scoring 90 percent of the votes cast by the duly accredited delegates during the exercise.
The new officials of the association were elected during the State delegates Conference held at the Nurses House in Yola, the State capital.
The delegates Conference of NAMN was well attended by Arrow-Heads of Labour Movement in Adamawa State and beyond.
The 2019 Conference was adjudged to be one of the fiercest battle over two decades considering the vested interest, but the incumbent who endeared herself into the minds of the cross section of delegates, was overwhelmingly returned due to her track record since assumption of office October, 2015.
NEWS PLATFORM learnt that the emergence of the Labour Leader who took over the helm of affairs in 2015, saw the association witnessing unprecedented infrastructural development most especially at the Secretariat of the association.
Comrade Lami Aminu, after her assumption of office, completed a multi-million naira Secretariat of the association, land scape the premises, furnished the edifice and purchased Mikano Generator to ensure 24 hrs power supply.
She went ahead and procured 2 Hummer buses and Highlander Jeep for official use, purchased Estate at Jambutu for her members and settled welfare benefits of about 159 Nurses and Midwives amounting to #700,000 which commenced on the 1st October, 2019.
Likewise, apart from the construction of a beffiting parking space at the secretariat, she also purchased 24 hectares of land and allocated it to members at a subsidised rate, constructed overhead tank with a view to ensure portable water supply among others.

She won with 52.3% percentage please (33÷63×100= 52.3%)Why do you have problems with computing percentage? Or is it just a deliberate effort at misrepresenting information?
