NLC CHAIR TASKS WORKERS ON PATRIOTISM, PERSEVERANCE AS NIGERIA CLOCKS 59TH



As Nigeria marks its 59th Independence Anniversary today, the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), Adamawa State Chapter, has tasked workers and other citizens to uphold the vision of their founding fathers by imbibing the spirit of patriotism, reseilence and perseverance as the nation clocks 59th years.

The Chairman of NLC in the state, Comrade Emma Fashe, however felicitated with Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, workers as well as the good people of state as they mark the 59th Independence Anniversary.

A statement signed by his Media Directorate and made available to NEWS PLATFORM in Yola, the state capital today, called for an improved working condition for workers at all levels for effective service delivery in the state.

The Labour Leader further commended most especially state workers for their patience, productivity, doggedness and punctuality, and urged them not to relent in their struggle for a better working condition.

Comrade Emma Fashe, said that the attainment of these years is not in vain as the nation has produced great leaders and workers who have been galvanizing the civil service, and however advocated for reciprocation on the part of the government.
